William Carignan

Bill has over 16 years of public media experience with multiple financial and accounting positions held at Detroit Public Television and WRCJ 90.9 FM. He currently serves as VP and controller responsible for financial statements, audits, budgets, forecasts, financial operations, payroll, internal controls, and external compliance. Bill earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in finance from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in accounting from Baker College.

Timothy Smith

I was born in San Francisco, CA and my family moved to Florida when I was three years old where I have lived since. I graduated from Jefferson High School in Tampa, and I received my bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. After graduating college, I moved back to Tampa, where I spent most of my time growing up. Shortly after moving back to Tampa, I met my wife. We have three beautiful children, two of which we adopted from China. I am a Certified Public Accountant with over twenty five years experience in accounting.

Sonja Pasquantonio

Sonja Pasquantonio is the VP of Human Resources, Training, and Development at Connecticut Public. She has a over 30-years of experience in various Human Resources roles spanning government, contracting, non-profit, and quasi-public agencies. Sonja consults for GRC Educators, is an Executive Steering Team Member for Connect HR Leadership Summit, hosts ThinkTANK discussion topics for the Quartz Network and offers training courses in Human Resources, Business Writing and Effective Communication. Sonja co-chairs the Human Resources and Marketing PTMMG groups.

Max Duke

As vice president, station strategy & development, Max Duke is responsible for creating and executing strategies for building station capacity, supporting leadership development, and enhancing critical skills for station staff members. Max began his 20-year public media career at South Florida PBS where he developed and implemented the station’s digital media presence. He later went on to serve as the station’s VP of content and community partnerships.

Michal Heiplik

Michal Heiplik is the president and co-founder of the Contributor Development Partnership (CDP). As a 20-year public broadcasting veteran, Michal has extensive experience in database management, membership development, and in identifying fundraising practices that drive positive results. His analytic approach to fundraising and operational problems has given rise to innovation and positive results in his past endeavors.

Carlin Beckman

Carlin Beckman has been with WNIN Tri-State Public Media, Inc. for over 19 years, serving as VP of finance and administration since 2005. Her first three years with WNIN she served as director of finance and administration and was promoted to vice president in 2005. Prior to joining WNIN, she worked as business manager for a vehicle rental business and as an accountant with a local CPA firm.

David Duke

David has over 15 years of experience in public broadcasting and 25 years financial experience with multiple positions in accounting, budgeting, reporting, and management. He currently work as director of finance at WGCU in Fort Myers, Florida (a medium-size university joint licensee) and formerly worked at ideastream in Cleveland, Ohio (a large community joint licensee). Prior to joining public broadcasting, David held accounting jobs with other nonprofits, including a community action agency and a public housing authority.

Mike Waruszewski

Mike Waruszewski is the chief financial officer and member of the executive staff for WQED Multimedia. At WQED, he is responsible for compiling the annual company operating and capital budget, overseeing the annual audit process, cash flow, and compliance with FCC and CPB financial regulations, as well as facilities, information technology, and human resources. He is staff liaison with the WQED board of directors on all financial matters and reports to the Finance, Business and Operations Committee and Audit Committee on WQED’s financial structure.

Anthony Padgett

Anthony Padgett joined South Carolina ETV in October of 2017. He previously served as Georgia Public Broadcasting's chief operating officer. His responsibilities there included the management and oversight of the organization's day-to-day operational needs, including technology services, content creation and distribution, digital and education innovations, and business services.
