About the Presenters


Jennifer Forrester, CPA

James Moore & Co.


Jennifer has spent her entire career with James Moore, starting nearly 15 years ago as a staff accountant and working her way up to Partner in 2014. She provides accounting, attest and consulting services for clients in multiple industries, including government and nonprofit entities. Her specialization, however, is in serving public broadcasting entities. Jennifer has extensive experience addressing issues unique to these companies, including budgeting and internal controls, FASB, GASB, and CPB-AFR reporting. 

Jennifer earned her Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. She is on the board for Danscompany of Gainesville and enjoys cooking, baking, sewing, and running.
Jane Lastinger, CPA

James Moore & Co.
Jane has over six years of experience providing accounting and auditing services for public broadcast stations, universities, foundations, governmental entities, and other organizations. A manager with the firm, she monitors auditing and accounting projects and client engagements and is responsible for all phases of assignments including fieldwork supervision, risk assessment evaluation, and engagement approach development. 
Jane earned her Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida and is a member of the AICPA, the FICPA, and the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA). Outside of the office, Jane enjoys spending time with her dogs Bo and Scout.
