What is a Watercooler Conversation?
An opportunity for PMBA members to converse with each other about hot topics, successes, and shared challenges. The discussion will take place over the web-conferencing platform Zoom, but this is not a webinar. Instead of a presentation where all attendees are “in listen-only mode,” a facilitator will guide and manage a discussion between all attendees, pose questions to spark conversation, and ensure good participation. Participants are encouraged to bring their expertise, their questions, and their desire to participate and help their fellow public media colleagues solve problems. CPE credit is not available. Registration and PMBA membership is required.

CPE Credit Available for PMBA Toolkits!

PMBA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State Boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses of CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website:

Cancellation Policy: Due to this program being offered free of charge for PMBA members, refunds will not be issued. Registration is non-refundable for non-members. If you are interested in receiving CPE credit and are unable to participate, please email PMBA at (240) 844-3600 or In the event of a cancellation, PMBA commits to contacting the participants via email at least 24 hours in advance to notify them of the change.

If you are unable to participate in a Toolkit and would like copies of the material presented, please contact PMBA. You cannot receive CPE credit for recordings.
